Reporting an excused absence: email CHS at chs-attendance@chccs.k12.nc.us. Please include the reason and the student’s name as it appears in PowerSchool. For medical appointments, please submit a doctor's note when the student returns to school.

Mobile Dental Van Coming to CHS
Piedmont Health’s Oral Health Program offers complete dental care to students at CHS. This is a school-based oral health program available to all students with, or without, dental insurance. The dental van will be onsite at CHS, and will allow students to receive dental care during school hours. Parents/Guardians will need to fill out a Consent Form for their child to receive care. Appointments begin in November, and fill-up quickly. Please email CHS’ School Nurse, Tori Toles, as soon as possible to receive a Consent Form, and to make an appointment: ttoles@chccs.k12.nc.us
