CHS NHS Leadership

Hey, it’s me, Mr. Walker! I am the adviser for the National Honor Society Chapter here at Carrboro High School. On top of being the adviser for NHS, I also advise the two other clubs and am a member of the Equity Committee. Teaching-wise, you can find me in the Social Studies Department teaching everything under the sun, so needless to say, I like to keep myself busy. I took over the adviser position because I wanted to improve and grow our chapter to create a more inclusive and impactful community. Being a huge advocate for the Four Pillars of NHS, I am always looking for ways to build our students up, while supporting our school and community at the same time. While this year is not ideal for a second-year adviser, I am looking forward to working with this great group of students and seeing what they can do. I am also looking forward to seeing what YOU CAN DO!
